Celebrating God's grace, every day.
Zion Spring has been serving the faithful for over ninety-eight years. Our mission is to spiritually elevate our community, to work for the greatest good, and to pursue the advancement of GOD's kingdom here on earth. We are committed to and partner with those who aim to feed the hungry and clothe the poor as demonstrations of the Gospel. We desire to be a refuge to those seeking spiritual healing and we strive to encourage others to embrace the path that will lead them to Jesus Christ and a brand new life. Our faith causes us to love and serve all people. We do not discriminate. We attempt to support our neighbors, and bear witness to the transforming power of GOD, the light of His love and truth, and the tenderness of His care for His creation.
Our Vision
At the Zion Spring Baptist Church, our goal is to address the spiritual as well as physical needs of our neighbors here in the Avondale community of Birmingham, Alabama. We declare and demonstrate the love of GOD in practical ways while renewing daily our commitment to live out Christ's command to ‘love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves.’
