Clergy
Adam M. Mixon is our Pastor.  He is a trained, licensed, and ordained minister who is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.  He has  been educated at the University of Cincinnati, and the Samford University in Birmingham, AL.  He is married to Adrienne A. Mixon, also an Ohio native, and they have 3 beautiful children.  They have been serving the ministry at Zion Spring for seven years. 

Zion Spring has had several wonderful pastors in the past, Rev. George Johnson, Rev. Charles Johnson, and Rev. E.J. Minniefield - very few over her eighty year lifespan! 

Teaching Ministry
We have a very strong teaching ministry at Zion Spring.  Our sermons are in series with our Bible Study lessons and we have a gifted group or Sunday School teachers that offer practical insights on living a Christian life.  There are classes for all ages.

Online Prayer Outreach
Aside from having intercessory prayer every Wednesday Night following Bible Study and early morning prayer service every Sunday at 8:30am, you can also email your prayer requests to pastoradam@zionsbconline.com.  We believe that if we confess our faults one to another and pray for one another, we can be healed (James 5:16)!

Zion Spring is affiliated with the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc, where Reverend Stephen Thurston is our President.  We are members of the New Era Progressive Baptist State Convention of Alabama, where Pastor Timothy J. Woods (Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, Birmingham) is our President.  And we are members of the Village Spring Manly District Association, where Pastor Stanley B. Hall (Living Fellowship Baptist Church, Birmingham) is our Moderator.
